Special offering of a Pennsylvania mounted or highway cold weather duty black leather coat / jacket. Historical example of vintage police leather. Wear this jacket in minus weather or unzip the liner for warmer rides on the police special Harley Davidson or mounted horse patrol. This coat jacket features silver buttons inscribed: PHILADELPHIA POLICE. This quality piece is constructed of thick black leather is very resistant to wear. The sewn-in label reads: TAILORED SPORTSWEAR BY IRVIN FOSTER - GUNUINE HORSEHIDE. The loop near the collar for hanging is detached on one side. Slight wear at botttom. Please view the many photos I have posted and allow them to represent condition. It is used but not abused! Will last another 70 years. Has a custom holder for the police issue breast badge. Left side has a deep pocket for placement of service pistol. Leather is supple. SIZE: unmarked. . .I am 5\'11\", 200 pounds and it will not close. Not sure if it would qualify as being a LARGE or medium? ? It is definitely 3/4 length. With lining in place it weights a hefty 6 pounds. Sleeve approx. 22 inch. I am 5\'11\" and it sits right below my hips. Nice length.
