ITEM DESCRIPTION

Extremely rare and antique Ericsson switchboard intercom telephone with 50 lines and disc selector. First version made in Sweden about 1920 and signed by Ericsson on handset and body. There is another modern version of this model (very more common than this one), made about 1940 for Televerket with a different telephone fork, a different handset and a different rotary disc, and not signed by Ericsson. But this first version is almost impossible to get. This intercom is completely made in black painted metal and wood. As you can see on pictures, this telephone switchboard shows signals of use consistent with age. It is untested, but i am pretty sure it may work. All mechanical parts are working. Rotary disc moves slowly and needs to be oiled to finish in the end, however it is complete and it has no broken parts. Antique original condition. Very heavy (more than 6300 grams). Very rare telephone for demanding collectors. Height is 34 centimeters. Shipping costs via FedExcertified is $ 99 (worldwide - 2 to 5 weeks to arrive).
