A great pair of antique 19th century, c1870-1880, original tintype photographs depicting the same home! The larger half plate size shows a closer view of the home with white picket fence and telegraph pole out front. The tintype shows the house from slightly farther out and in this one a boy in period country attire can be standing out front of the white fence and another child can be seen standing at the front door. A great rare set of two architectural tintypes depicting the same home!
Both in Good overall condition. The larger half plate shows gentle wear along the edges but still displays quite handsomely. The other is quite clean with minimal wear and comes housed in its original paper sleeve.
Measures 5 1/2” x 4 1/4” and 4 1/8” x 2 5/8”. Each comes housed in its protective clear rigid archival sleeve for easy display and handling.
