Antique 19th Century Moroccan Quran Case W/ Turquoise, Brass Silver & Camel Bone:

Antique Quran embellishment handmade vintage Koran box or case from Morocco, Berber in origin. Made by old artisans and kept in excellent shape. Incised silver metal mixed with turquoise and coral accents with camel bone panels in glorious ornate display.
Back side has incised Arabic numerals and letters on brass. The sides have loops for adding a shoulder or waist strap.
The side pin is easily pulled to open the case to reveal a plain blackened interior where a book, typically Quran is kept.
A spectacular collectible case from the 19th century.
