Large antique French memorial wreath souvenir in the shape of a star.
Small white glass beads artfully assembled and threaded on wire to form swirls and ornaments with blue pearls added in the middle to form tiny flowers.The flowers frame and frame a charming biscuit porcelain dove bird.These wreaths were made in convents by skilled nuns who strung the beads individually. The middle of the wreath is arched or raised in a dome shape.
Beautiful for decoration in the all white or shabby style.
Very good antique condition - possibly a few beads missing among the flourishes.Final photo shows the ornament \'s back.
