DESCRIPTION: BeautifulAntique Italian (of possibly French)Renaissance Revival Walnut Box Cassone w Key. Key works. Mirrored veneer on top. Personalized to a W.F. Box is walnut with the feet are carved from a darker wood.

DATE: These original are from the 16th C., but guessing this piece is a revival piece from the 18th C.? Unless the metal piece around the key was added later, because that\'s what is having me question the age.It\'s definitely old!

CONDITION: READ CAREFULLY. It does have issues. Some of the feet have come off and been re-glued -- the one\'s regluing should be re-done. There are cracks inside and in the veneer on top. Missing screws from the bottom, but the bottom seems to have been glued so not moving.Please review the photos for the best idea of the condition.
