Antique Victorian hand embroidered appliqué in an ecru color...
Useful for embellishing apparel, pillows, hats, sachets, etc., this embellishment feature padded hand embroidery work showcasing a floral spray with greenery, buttonhole stitching & fillings throughout and is partially surrounded with tulle which can be trimmed off the motif edges.
Measure overall ~8\" long and ~7 inches wide, with the embroidery aspects measure ~5&3/4\" long and ~5&3/4\" wide.
The smaller panel measures overall ~7&3/4\" long & ~6&1/4 inches wide. Each of the 2 mirror image embroidery portions (which can be separated for embellishing sleeve edges, etc.) measure ~2&1/4\" wide, ~5&1/4\" long.
Appear unused. In overall very good condition considering age with inconsistent yellowing, mild soilage and spots which should lift with soaking, and mild fraying along the unfinished edges. Though none are noted, there may be a rare tiny break. Please enlarge photos for details.
