Description:

This beautiful rare 19th century French 2 sided Provençal hand made cotton quilt has a different 19th century printed fabric on each side. The first side has a lovely Provençal small print in a faded red color with a bit of white on a golden yellow background color. There is a wonderful quilted red border surrounding the center print. The border is 8.5 inches on the sides and 11.5 and 12.5 inches on the top and bottom. The second side has center print of leaves and small flowers in brown and faded red. There is a white background with small black dots. See photos for reference

62 inches in Length by 62 inches in Width

Condition:

Very good - used condition there is a bit of fraying around the edges of the quilt, there a few very small openings where the batting shows. Very very small not important!
