Contract signed: \"Constance Collier\", 1 page (front and verso), 8½x17. No place, 1935 December 5. Agreement between Selznick International Pictures, Inc. and Constance Collier to perform the role of Lady Lorridaile in the upcoming film Little Lord Fauntleroy at a salary of $1,500.00 per week. The term of employment commencing on or around December 28, 1935. Although she preferred the stage, British actress/director/playwright Constance Collier (1878-1955) appeared in films in both comic and dramatic roles, beginning with D. W. Griffith\'s Intolerance (1916). Her best remembered films include Stage Door (1937). Collier was esteemed as a drama coach; her pupils included close friend Katharine Hepburn. Seven horizontal folds. Creased. worn. Light nicks and tears at edges. Staple holes at top. Otherwise, fine condition.

Payment - Buyers will be sent payment instructions following their purchase. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express & PayPal. PayPal customers must have a confirmed address on file with PayPal.
