Fine German Model 1898 Quillback Sword Bayonet + Sheath Matching SN# Simson Suhl: $469.00
Fine condition German Model 1898 Quillback Bayonet measuring 26" overall with a blade length of 20.5". Excellent blade, bright, fullered, ricasso marked, "SIMSON & CO. SUHL". Bottom spine of blade has star-fish like cartouche. Wood grips have excellent wood to metal fit with 3 small dings/scratches on the left one. Excellent working pres-stud. Excellent leather and metal ends scabbard, throat piece slides up just a bit. Serial no on frog stud and on the bayonet guard are matching, #11621. Large seal cartouche on the pommel end of bayonet. By Far one of the best I have seen. See photos.
