Offered for sale is a beautiful vintage enamel trinket box handcrafted in England. This oval-shaped box from the 1970s was part of Bilston & Battersea's Halcyon Days line of trinket boxes which came in a variety of colors, images and sayings. Features a pink enamel bottom with a white enamel, gold-colored hinged cover decorated with the French saying 'Merci Infiniment' in black script surrounded by multicolored flowers. 'Merci Infiniment' translates from the French to 'Thank You So Much' or 'Thanks Very Much'. This lovely box would be a unique and treasured thank you gift for any occasion. The inside of the box is white enamel with the inside lid featuring a black line drawing of more flowers. In very good condition. There's just one small ding on the exterior, which is not unusual for a box that appx 50-years-old. In no way does is detract from the box's beauty and functionality (last photo). Will be carefully packaged and shipped quickly from a smoke-free environment.
