~ Free Shipping ~Up for sale today is this Napoleons Wife Empress Josephine Bonaparte Signed Letter Framed w/ PSA COA. This is a great old french ornate gold gilt frame with pink velvet backing. The picture of Empress Josephine is on top with the hand written letter displayed below with a gold metal tag that reads " Josephine Bonaparte Empress of France Nee Lapagerie Bonaparte 1763 -1814". Also has a framed typed letter with the translation with similar pink velvet. The velvet in the translation has not faded as much as the framed letter. The frame measures 34" x 25". COmes with a PSA COA from 2005 cert number D76061. Please make note there are 2 cracks in the frame (see pics). The frame is still sound and hangs with out issue.Joséphine Bonaparte was Empress of the French as the first wife of Emperor Napoleon I from 18 May 1804 until their marriage was annulled on 10 January 1810. As Napoleon's consort, she was also Queen of Italy from 26 May 1805 until the 1810 annulment. She is widely known as Joséphine de Beauharnais.
