Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How are your photographs processed?

We pride ourselves on bringing youonly thefinest quality prints by consistently taking advantage of the ever-growing advances in photo technology. One of the ways we achieve thisis with giclee, a high resolution, high-fidelityprocess using aperformance-specialized large format printer. Giclee (pronounced zee-CLAY) utilizes inkjet technology, but far moreadvanced than a standard deskjet.Among other advantages, giclee employsanulta-wide color gamutusing 11 (or more)specified inks. Originally developed as a proofing system for the traditional lithograph, the superior quality and brilliance of the giclee was soon realized. Also, giclees are produced digitally, saving generations of the detail-robbingexperienced with older methods such as negatives and plates. This is why giclee, dye sublimationand similar processes have become the gold standard of photographic production in the 21stcentury, andare employed by the majority of today's reputible photograpic and printhouse developers.
