A recently acquired timeworn treasure here in New England ! Extra large antique primitive Coverlet . Extra long length , measures are app 102” long x 93” wide and is made up of 3 individual woven panels , hand stitched together that are each 31” wide as the looms were narrow at the time. It is shown on a full sized bed with plenty of overhang . I believe it dates back to the 1800’s and not any newer than turn of the 20th century as far as I know. Made of Linen and Wool in colors of indigo and a reddish/orange tone with the linen being in its natural unbleached color. Some areas look more red and some more of an orange look , possibly due to fading over the many years. I have taken pics of various angels but you can zoom in for better views. There is some wear of the wool and thinning and an occasional light mark but blends in quite nice.I had to look closely to find them actually and did not try to remove them. Please zoom in . Could be taken apart for projects if desired or use and display. Selling as is but Overall still a great, very old piece ! It still feels sturdy and looks great either way with antiques and feels warm! Thanks for looking!
