This beautifully detailedmedal is a replica of the Prussian Order of the Crown Second Class – theCommander’s Cross. It is mounted on theblue peacetime ribbon.

The Order of the Crown (Kronenorden) was established in 1861 andranks with the Order of the Red Eagle. Membership in the order was limited to commissioned officers. This version was also awarded to civilians.

The two-sided medal measures 5 cm across and weighs 1.3 oz. / 38 grams. It comes with a(ends unfinished) 12-inch length of the appropriate 55 mm (wide) ribbon (reproduction).
