For sale is an exceptionally rare and very well preserved 1980’s period Abarth official agent dealership illuminated advertising sign.
This sign was used as a promotional advertising piece for an Italian based Abarth concessionaire during the 1980’s. It is an exceptionally rare sign and is a great size and also very impressive when seen in person.
The sign features a single sided design with a fully polished aluminium enclosure. The sign face is raised and the legendary Abarth logo and name are on full display. This sign was manufactured by an Italian manufacturer called Serenari. It is supposed to be hung from the wall using the original rear mounting supports.
The internal lighting is operated by fluorescent lighting and it is fully functional. The sign is currently wired to a UK plug but it can be easily changed back to a European plug. For the sign to function in the USA, a step down converter would be required. The colours and inviting glow is genuinely superb.
The sign was internally displayed and shows minor signs of age and patina, but it presents itself very well and being for the well known and much loved Abarth brand, it is almost impossible to come by.
I am willing to ship this special sign worldwide and I will ensure it is safely packaged. A bespoke and very robust wooden shipping crate will be specially commissioned and is included in the shipping price.
This nostalgic and atmospheric sign is very striking and would be perfectly suited for an enthusiast to have on display. It has been privately owned and enjoyed but now the time has come for a new home to be found. I will ensure the sign is safely packaged for its journey to its new owner.
