RARE Antique ARCHIMEDES Mixer Beater Whisk KITCHEN Tin WIRE Utensil RHINELAND A really beautifully made very rare form antique Archimedes Mixer-Beater-Whisk- this design and form are very hard to find. It is marked Rhineland on the handle. This late 1890s or early 1900\'s all metal & wireARCHIMEDES EGG BEATER KITCHEN WHISK is perfect for any country decorating or kitchenware display! The unique design of this handy kitchen utensil is attributed to the third century B.C. mathematician and inventor Archimedes who was instrumental in the development of the up-and-down eggbeater. When placed vertically in a mixing bowl or jar and pushed up & down the bottom wire beaters rotate to beat/mix/whip ingredients, all with one hand!
