The portrait is unframed and in portrait orientation, with the featured person being Patrick Henry McCarty. This rare photograph is a single piece and has not been licensed for reproduction. It is a one-of-a-kind item that would make an excellent addition to any collection.

Am also posting Bridgett McCarty. Extraordinarily rare. Acquired at an estate sale in Marshall Missouri May 2019. Photos, cdv’s, tintypes, and three cased daguerreotypes all in a shoebox for nine dollars. I had sold the three daguerreotypes unaware of the subjects identities. In October 2019 i made the discovery of the initial Billy the kid tintypes while i was working on a William s. Burroughs spoken word project about Bloody Bill Andersons civil war routing thru Boone county missouri when the image of wild west outlaws came to mind and decided to cross compare the tintypes to the known image of billy the kid. Using art apps i was able to confirm thru transparency overlay comparison. Further evidence became apparent over the next few months the extent of the McCarty Marshall Missouri lot. The lots content is shown here in the photos. There is a photo comparing Missouri McCarty lot to another alleged group photo of the McCartys that are outstanding matches. Here you can see another image of Patrick Henry McCarty whom tragically died of consumption or tuberculosis as we know it now.
