Stunning large set of twelve antique damask linen napkins.Fabulous framed scrolling floral motif. Beautifully detailed hand embroider monogram RC or CR. Fabulous hem stitch border and center detail.
Condition: Overall very good for age and use! They had been recently washed and beautifully pressed so I have not rewashed other than to work on a few spots. One or two remain otherwise I think I got most out! See last two photos. One of the napkins is also a tiny bit darker than the rest.Approximate measurements: Wonderful large napkins 32.5” x 28” over 3lbs!
I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should beexpected.The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special!
