This knife utilizes a 4 1/4" Locking Spear Point blade with a partially serrated CombinationEdge, hollow grind, 3mm (0.13") thickness, spine jimping, swedge, thumb ramp and thumb hole. The blade material is VG-10 Stainless Steel with a Satin finish. The contoured handle is smooth Stainless Steel with an amofferextrous 4-position pocket clip. This magnificent piece is 5 1/4 inches long(closed for folding knives) and weighs approximately 5.5 ounces. Spyderco's Police Model was developed in the early 1980s in response to requests from law enforcement officers who wanted a slim, easy-to-carry folder capable of serious cutting performance. The result was the Police Model�one of the most enduring and iconic folding knives ever produced.
