Listed is a unique German made pewter figure of a Hussar or Light Cavalry Officer from the Napoleonic wars era. He is very detailed, shown stroking his moustache while holding a long stem pipe. He has a fancy multi buttoned open jacket and wearing a forage cap. I have no clue as to the original purpose of this figurine but it has a minute nozzle opening near his throat and a bit of a hollow tube or stem seen from underneath. It has the word Geschultzt (Protected as in Patented) stamped on it. I believe this is from the 1920s. There are threads and a detachable insert (see photos). I used it as a finial atop a wooden dowel on top of a wooden clock case. This could be incorporated into a piece of furniture or just as a collectible.
