This is a museum quality vintage Navajo all silver hat concho band. This remarkable hat band was handmade by the very famous artist, Kee Joe Benally. This hat band is all silver and contains outstanding surrounding carvings that wrap completely around the entire band. The carvings consist of bordering sun stampings with center half moon stampings. Seperating the sun stampings from the half moon patterns are line segments. The band consists of a marvelous center all silver concho like buckle that measures around 1-7/8\" X 1\". The hat band measures a diameter of about 7\" on the smallest notch but can be measured to about 7-1/2\" in diameter. Signed by Navajo artist, Kee Joe Benally . Sterling silver. Cir. 1960\'s+.
