Vintage IMPERIAL IRELAND -- Large 4" STOCKMAN -- Made 1978-2004 in Listowel:

• This is a vintage IMPERIAL IRELAND 4" long STOCKMAN that is in very good condition. It has a large 3.2" long Clip point main blade, a 2.25" long Sheepsfoot blade, and a 2" long Spey blade all made of CARBON STEEL. The blades are tight with GOOD SNAP and NO WOBBLE. It has NICKEL SILVER BOLSTERS.
  

• The brown handles are made of JIGGED DELRIN and are in very good condition except that the backside is a little loose which can't be seen in the pictures. It should be easily repairable but I made no attempt to fix it. It has not been cleaned or polished by me and is in as-found condition. Please see the pictures.
  

• The tang on the main blade is stamped IMPERIAL over IRELAND. This started as an additional plant for SOLINGEN, GERMANY-based JOWIKA STAHWLARENFABRIK EUGEN WEBER & ALTENBACH KGwhich opened the factory in LISTOWEL, IRELANDin 1960. That factory was acquired by IMPERIAL SCHRADEin 1978 which operated the company until its 2004 closing.
