This lovely estate piece is a vintage Italian pietra dura landscape miniature of Florence. This beautifully crafted mosaic stone picture medallion is mounted on an olive green fabric base and displayed in a gorgeous gilt wood frame. The picture is unsigned, but perhaps attributable to Renzo Scarpelli whose larger signed pieces were also purchased by the original owners of this miniature.
Frame size: ~5 1/2\" wide x 5 7/8\" tallImage size: ~1\" wide x 1 1/4\" tall
Condition is excellent. There\'s just one small chip hidden on one of the back bottom corners of the frame. It\'s not readily visible when hung.
