Up for sale is a WWI Era US ArmyM1909 Leather Belt Holster for the Colt or S&W M1917 .45 cal Revolver. This an excellent replica of the original holster design. It has the partial leather flap, the wide belt loop and the rawhide leather leg tie. This holster was used to carry the large frame Colt or S&W US M1917 .45 caliber Revolver.This holster was originally designed to be a \"ButtForward\" carry design, on the right side. It is NOT aleft hand holster.
