Up for sale is a WWII US Army M3 LeatherShoulder Holster for the Colt M1911/M1911A1 Pistol. This holster isused, see photo\'s for Condition. The leather issoft and supple. All of the stitching is intact and not fraying. The holster hasdarkened with age to a dark brown color. No rips or tears in the leather. There are some areas of wrinkling in the leather, mainly on the strap. The US in the Oval on the front, is very faint, but still visible. It is marked \"US Boyt\" on the rear, the markings arelight, but readable. All the snaps and fasteners are in good functional condition. The holster show a good bit of honest wear, but is still very functional. See photos.

These holsters were used by officers, tank crews,pilots and aircrews during WWII to carry the Colt M1911 orM1911A1 .45acpPistol.

WWIIShoulder Holsters are getting very hard to find. This is a Nice Condition M3 shoulder holster that has aged well and deserves to be in your WWII Collection.
