Seems to be made very well!!!! It held about 1000 maybe a tiny bit more at max 5.56 rounds . Which as long as it holds that many I’m good and it came with the gel packs to keep moisture out for storage which was a huge plus for me . Not the tiny ones either , they give the strip size ones that are great . I thought that was a cool extra as important as that is to keep your ammo dry. The sealed lid seems very well made . Definitely will buy more !! Great shipping speeds also , 3-4 days ? A+++

These came faster than ebay originally said they would and the quality is amazing! I like the color of these tan ones more than the OD green ones that I had already. They didn't smell like the coating was still curing when I got them w which was a plus. The smell doesn't run me away but being a Chemist I'd rather not smell chemicals that I don't have to. I'd definitely recommend these if you're looking for a good water tight 50 cal storage can.

    Great for "Grab and Go" Situations

    Solid, sturdy, heavy duty seal to keep out dust and humidity for sure. I use mine to store coins. Great handle for carrying some weighty items. I have not tested the "waterproof claim" so not sure on that feature. LOVE mine, want to add two more soon. Great for "grab and go" situations for SURE.

    A perfect ammo and other storage box in every way!

    High quality, durable and just what I wanted for an AMMO storage Box. This is a metal box that is painted in a very nice tan color. It has a lock mechanism that will keep out children and anyone that you do not want to see what is inside the box. You could use this to store private papers, cash and special small tools. I really like it!

    Does the job well.

    It's an ammo can folks, it's a dry place to store surplus ammo. Is there anything particularly "special" about this one, no. If I could change anything, it would of course be the price. A certain large chain "box" store carries a very similar product (only difference is the color) for around $13 bucks. Problem is, they run out frequently and I don't really like shopping there. The product works well and is good quality, that's the long and short of it.

    These were made to store ammo for a reason!!

    I use these when I need a safe and weather proof storage for my ammunition, I will purchase more as my inventory grows!! I intend to replace all my other ammo storage units with these, the plastic ones are ok but definitely not as durable and can not store as much..

    Best storage box for anything

    These are great boxes to store not only ammo but anything you want to protect from moisture. They are stack-able and take up very little floor space. I like the secure latch and with the water tight seal, I know humidity won't affect what's stored inside. Also like the color rather than the standard green.
