Boveda Relative Humidity Pack
This is a product that creates a stabilized relative humidity in a cigar humidor. The product is designed for various percentages, I chose 72 % for cigars I bought in Cuba. The product is very easy to use. Just place it into the humidor and load your cigars. Water vapor will slowly pass thru the membrane of the pack and it will stop when the desired humidity has been reached. After a time the pack will become empty of the water and that is when it should be replaced. I like this product because it is so easy to use. If you have an airtight humidor that produces a perfect seal you’ll want to go with the 69% RH packs to prevent your cigars from being too moist. Works like a charm!
Boveda packs were as advertised. Placed a single packet within my humidor (that already has a built in humidistat) and it very efficiently adjusted the humidity level and has kept it steady for several days already. Will add a 2nd packet as directions state 1 packet for every 25 cigars.
