Very good for the money
Overall, this is a pretty good knife. It is a fine American brand name though it is now made in China. I collect pocket knives, and like this pattern a lot. There is one area I recommend for improvement: the brass liner separating the two blades is cut short between the ends of the knife. As a result you need to be deliberate when closing the blades to ensure the tip, especially the secondary blade does not catch on the liner leaving the sharp tip up where it can snag you or you pocket. Other Chineses made knives in this pattern ( Rough Rider, Marbles, etc.) do not have this issue. That said, I still recommend this asa nice piece and very suitable for EDC if your state laws allow it.Overall, this is a pretty good knife. A knife for Christmas
I bought this for a Christmas present. It looks just like the one I bought for myself years ago and still have . I hope the knife is as good as mine. Very unhappy with the sheath. Will be lucky if it lasts a year. Looks like they could charge a few more $ and make a quality sheath.

A quality product at a modest price.. The 227UH is a well made folding hunter with quality components. I've recently purchased two of these and for the money, you'll not find a better deal. I must say this about Schrade Uncle Henrys', if you want this product, make sure you get one made under the Battenfeld Tech. inc era. I've had to return two that were made under the Taylor Brands co. era because of quality issues. Yes, I'm picky, but having spent a lifetime as a civil - mechanical engineering QC inspector it's just normal for me to look things over. My new knife
Schrade Uncle Henry has been around for a long time, and they always put out a good product. when I opened the boy I couldn't believe how beautiful, and well made it was. the knife is heavier than it looks also it is one of the sharpest knives I've encountered. I would highly recommend it.
