It is a good and sturdy piece and it looks good. It has an edge on the blade which seems rare; you may want to sharpen it a bit more (I did anyway) but the edge it has is serviceable. Everything else is solid.

Sword and sheath for 50 bucks is a great deal. So much so that I bought this just for the sheath to go with another sword I own. Sadly the sheath is not wide enough for this purpose. I'm still happy with this sword however, as it will be a great display and solo practice model.
