pre-WWI Era AEF US Army Cavalry M1904 Horse Hair Brush - Marked: Rock Island Arsenal 1904 - Early Larger Size Brush -Excellent Condition- Original Up for sale is a pre-WWI Era AEF USArmy Cavalry M1904 Horse Hair Brush. The leather is still very soft and supple. It has a strong US in Oval marking on both the brush and the hand strap. It is clearly marked: Rock Island Arsenal & dated 1904. This is the Early Larger version of this brush. The brush is approximately 9\" x 4 3/4\". The markings are under the hand strap. Some wrinkling of the leather on the hand strap, there is a cut out in the leather on the hand strap. The bristles are all the same consistent length, see photos. The indicates the brush has not had much, it any, real usage. It is in Excellent Condition, please see photos. Very difficult to find one of these early Large Brushes.
