This isan ORIGINAL UNISSUED WW I US ARMY KHAKI CANVAS SIGNAL CORP. FLAG CASE DATED1918. The Signal Corp. Flag Case was used during WW I to store & carry thesignal flags. The flag case is made of a khaki canvas material and measuresapprox. 25 1/2 inches Long and 5 inches Wide. On the front there is asewn on strap with a metal end and a fold down flap with a metal buckle forsecuring the flag case closed. On the front it is stamped U.S. ARMY, FLAG KITAND THE SIGNAL CORPS. EMBLEM (2 crossed signal flags with a torch). On theinside top flap it is stamped PLW, 1918. On the back there is an adjustablestrap for carrying over your shoulder, in your hand, attach it to a pack,vehicle, etc. On one side there are 2 sets of 3 grommet holes. The OriginalUnissued WW I US Army Khaki Canvas Signal Corps.Flag Case DATED 1918 is in new condition.
