ANTIQUE POISON BOTTLE 1880s BLUE:

This is a pretty light blue bottle. Some may call this a light cobalt color. This one is a 6 sided 4 1/4 inch size. Notice that on the front flat panel it has the word: POISONOUS and NOT TO BE TAKEN on the second line. Both sides of the embossing it has ribbed panels. The other 3 sides are flat for placing the label. A very clean early poison with a nicely applied lip which has a slight defect shown in the last photo. Very smooth to the touch as it was probably made this way but not sure. At any rate, bottles that have the word Poisonous are not seen as often as NTBT or just the word Poison FYI. Displays very nicely and a beautiful color on this one.
