A real nice photo in excellent condition. Very slight damage to the thick cardboard matte shown in close up photo of the bottom right corner.

The matte board measures 11 3/4 inches X 9 3/4 inches.

The image measures 8 1/4 inches X 6 1/4 inches.

This historic image looks like it may have been taken on the side of the Union Hotel (in Gilbertville) which no longer exists. This village was the industrial part of the Town of Hardwick, just north of the Town of Ware. I came to this thought because, I found another photo of the Gilbertville Cornet Band ON on a Real Photo postcard. That photo , listed by a different seller, was taken at the front where a “HOTEL” sign is visible. That photo being a later time period, because my photo shows boys of a much younger age. Check it out ! I think it will still be there, as the price is $60
