Up for sale is this fine Fine User 19th Century Josiah King NY Smooth Woodworking Plane Inv#AC118wThis 19th Josiah King 373 Bowery, NY coffin-shaped smooth Woodworking plane is marked on toe.
The plane measures: 7-3/4\" L x 2-3/4\" W. The early heavy duty W. Butcher Warranted Cast Steel cutter is pitted and rusty and it measures: 6-1/2\" L x 2\". It would need to be sharpened. NOTE: It has a crack at mouth (see close-up photo). This plane is a little workhorse and would make an excellent addition to your toolbox for those small craft projects. It is in \"As found\" clean condition. The wood has a great feel and patina. It weighs a mere 1.13 lbs.
