Guaranteed to be original and as described --Antique Late 1700's Circa 18th to early 19th Century hand made Native American Woodland Indian large ladle. This antique Native American Woodland Indian ladle has a nice warm patina and is a superb example. The wood looks like maple or possible a fruit wood.. very nice grain. The tribe could be Abenaki,Iroquois or any another other of the Northeastern and or eastern woodland Indian tribes. The Ladle is authentic and original and is from the late 18th century to early 1800's. The end of the ladle could be percieved as a turtle head or some other form of effigy.. regardless this is a great example !SIZE: 11 1/2 long by about 3 3/4 inches wide at the ladle part...CONDITION: The condition is as shown..there are no repairs. The last photo shows a small age crack at the end of the bowl. This is in very nice condition considering the age, just some expected wear and age related wear.
