RARE RARE RARE ANTIQUE “MADAME HELENE’S VIBRATORY FACE SPATTER” MAKEUP ROUGE:

This is a rare and unique antique “INSTEAD OF ROUGE” face spatter. The handle and padded side is covered in chamois Opposite side is cork. The long covered handle of the vanity utensil is limber so as to be able to “SPAT” the cheeks. I have had this piece in my personal collection for many many years. I have yet to see another I don’t believe these were ever mass produced possibly because of the slight “pain” involved for making those rosy cheeks. I believe this item hails from late 1800’s to early 1900’s. The entire piece is probably close to 12” long. Still works as it should. Paper label still intact. Doesn’t appear to have been used except for my demonstrations of its use. The spatter head is approximately 2.5” to 3” diameter. It’s a fabulous rare rare piece.
