You are offerding on a very rare, possibly one of a kind, trial progressive color proof plate set of 6 plates by Jules Cheret from Les Affiches Illustrees. Printed in 1896. This is a complete set of all color separations. Acquired from the estate of Frederic Dubois who was the deputy director at Imprimeire Chaix between approx. 1885-1905. I acquired a number of rare proofs and progressive proofs from maitres and les Affiches Illustrees and I am keeping most of them. But, selling off a few things to pay the bills. Condition not bad for something that was used prior to final printing yet somehow survived all of these years. Please see pictures for condition. If you have questions please ask. This is exceedingly rare. The only other example I can find are the progressive color proofs of the cover art purchased by the Australian National Gallery in 1979. Free shipping to winning buyer.
