#1)Antique/1894 Dark Green Pure Silk Velvet Remnant RescuedFrom a custom-made coat made for the aunt of a friend and given to me in the 1960\'s.A Very Deep Green, almost Black. Very thin, fine close pile on a Silk Back. Millinery type (runs 18\'\' selvedge to selvedge see last photo). PURE SILK. Burn tested. Sturdy and sound with NO rot, stains, or holes.Minor pinholes in the seams.Last three of my pieces.This one measures 4 1/2\'\' x 17\'\' x 12\'\' x 9\'\' plus the cap of the sleeve, not included in these measurements because of some wear at the pleats but enough there to make some buttons.
