CONDITION: Backing fabric is original and slightly faded.
This bronze frame with portrait was produced in France in the late 19th century. It is unmarked but the portrait is initialed “BHT”. The frame is 8 inches tall and 5 1/4 inches wide. It is ormolu bronze with many floral ornaments and a bow at the top. It has its orginal glass. It can stand alone or hang on a wall. The portrait is beautifully executed by a professional artist. The details are fine and coloring vibrant. #E159
