Booklet is 6\" x 3 1/8\" x 1/4\". Cards are still attached to perforations in binding.
The Fort (La Pompelle or Fort Herbillon) saw combat and even changed hands multiple times during World War I, including the Second Battle of the Marne. Today it is a Historic Monument and museum. These images are from the Rheims area which is interesting that the address on the front cover is also local (REIMS). What a desolate and destroyed landscape, and the hell it would have been to fight there!
Used, as-is. Intact with all cards. Tissue sheets between cards. One tissue liner sheet has torn corner, some tissues have folds. Papaer covers have some wear and edge/corner fuzzing. See attached pictures. Ruler in pictures is not included in sale.
