12 1/4” English Oak Barley Twist Candlestick With Brass Top:

This is an English oak barley twist candle holder with a brass top. The brass top has a slight ding in it. This can be seen in the very first photo. This is in wonderful shape especially when you factor in the age. The brass top has not been polished since there are many that would prefer to do that themselves. This brass top has a screw that secures it to the wood stem. The barley twist stem screws into the base. This is accomplished by screwing the stem, which is threaded, into the base. There is a partial tag on the bottom that lets you know this candlestick is from London. It was shipped here in the early 1900’s to Sanger Harris. Kind of neat to see the history.
