Description:Victorian Trade Card - LIONCOFFEE, Woolson Spice Co., Toledo, OhioVery pretty card featuringa bouquet of multicolored flowers (pansies?)above a small scenic view of two people on arocky shore watching a sailboat pass by. The back explainshow a portrait shape can be cut from the cardforming a \"Shadow Picture\"of \"Mrs. Cleveland\",which can be projected on a wall with the use ofa lamp or gas jet. It states that there were 20different shadow pictures in the set, althoughthe card doesn\'t appear to be numbered. Size:approx. 5.125\" x4.25\"Copyright date:1895Lithographer:Gast Lith. Co., New York &ChicagoCondition:Very good, I\'d say.The card is only lightly soiled, with slightlyworn edges and corners. There\'s a sharp diagonalcrease across the lower right corner and a tinytear in the left edge. (Please see scans.)
