For your consideration is a photo of a show horse on February 2, 1895. The horse was a Dark Bay Stallion and was bred in Grand Island California. Its stock consists of 3/4 Clydesdale and 1/4 Percheron. The horse was 9 years old and had a mane of 15 feet long and a tail of 16 feet! His height was 16 3/4 hands and he weighed 1,625 pounds. He was never used in anything other that exhibition purposes.The photo is in cabinet card format. It has fading and a creased corner. This photo does show signs of wear.
