18th Century Ludwigsburg porcelain figurine. 3 putties/cherubs & goat.: $189.99
18th Century Ludwigsburg porcelain figurine. This contains the earliest mark from the collection of Duke Carl Eugene. Bottom underside center, handwritten, impressed number, “332.” This 18th century Ludwigsburg is in incredibly good condition. With exception to the goat’s horns. One has the tip missing the other is a full horn but it has. Apparently glued back on. There is no record of how or when this might have occurred. Everyone who has ever seen and complimented the piece does not notice unless I point it out. It simply does not distract from the overall impression of this gorgeous figurine. The quality of this piece is impeccable. Outside of a museum, I have never seen anything in person of this caliber. The paint and lines of the porcelain are extraordinary. This is a gem, at a very affordable price point. An incredible opportunity to own a stunning piece of art that is over 250 years old. Weight: 4 lbs. 15 oz.
