This listing is for a large lot of antique & vintage photographs. Images include the exterior of a large rooming house or hotel (marked Riverside House, possibly McHenry, Illinois), an interesting interior shot of a mercantile or general/drug store with bolts of fabric on the shelves, spool cabinets, and man behind the counter, a neat interior view of a bar with men, bottles of liquor lined up, and boxes of cigars in a display case, a photo of a very old parade float pulled by a horse (sign on horse marked Groceries from Roberts & Lagerstrom), an interior of a butcher with meat and sausage in the cases, a fascinating larger interior photo from an antique shop (lovely perfume bottles, lamps & objects d\' art-window is marked Arthur Harrison & Co Importers), another interior of a lighting and home decor store with stunning chandeliers, sconces, mirrors, tables, lamps, and figurines, another with the interior of a fine shop with silver pieces, stemware, vanity accessories, and other pretties in display cases (marked Paul Lackritz with a Chicago address, a great shot of a line of gentleman outside of a store by a display marked Lion Collars, and several postcards showing inside of the Soderia Ritz ice cream parlor, dining room of the S.S. Santa Rosa. Pictures vary in size from about 5 1/2\" to about 10\". Vintage, detail, clarity, and condition may vary so please email with questions or concerns prior to purchase. EVERYTHING shown is being sold together. I won\'t split up the lot or take less. You\'re getting them just as I did, typical wear & tear, creasing, dimness, and other signs of wear from age as to be expected. Some may be in better shape than others. Some are damaged or smell musty but still interesting glimpses into the way life used to be. I looked up the name that you can see through the window on the car in one of the antique store photos that said \" Litsinger for Mayor\" and found out that he ran for Mayor of Chicago in the 20s.
