This vintage postcard features the USS Texas and the iconic "Come on Texas" book by Paul Schubert. The card was manufactured in Germany during the Undivided Back era and was posted with a stamp. The postcard is made of paper and has a patriotic and nautical theme. The stamp is a 1902 series Benjamin Franklin 1cent. The stamp has no postal ink or any blemishes and is in excellent condition. The book is in excellent condition published in 1942 by Johnathan Cape andHarrison Smith. The photographs are wonderful for any collection. The books inscription reads "Ltjg EJ Prichert Merry Christmas from th JO Men 1942"
The postcard is in its original state and has been well-preserved over time. It is a great addition to any postcard collection and an excellent way to commemorate the friendship occasion.
