This is a fascinating postcard featuring the "Highest Spectacular Electric Sign in the World". Apparently Thos. Cusack Co. of Chicago built this sign using 20,000 feet of electric wire, 5,000 ft of steel cable, and used "Natural Color Tungsten Lights." This was to welcome everyone to Chicago for the 31st Triennial Conclave of the Knights Templar in 1910. Cusack was an entrepreneur and pioneer in the outdoor advertising industry - this sign was one example of his work!Posted. Top left corner has bend; other edge and corner wear, please see photos.
