This is an original antique menu from the First Annual Dinner of The German Publication Society held Friday, May 9th, 1913 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. This menu is a 12 page string bound booklet with tassel plus the covers measuring about 9” x 6.25”. The menu covers one page only with other pages having tipped in portraits of President Woodrow Wilson and Imperial German Ambassador to the United States His Excellency Count Von Bernstorff and a list of speakers. The remaining pages are left blank with space to write in autographs. The list of speakers included notable German Americans, academics and politicians including His Excellency Count Von Bernstorff, Charles W. Eliot, John Grier Hibben, Hugo Munsterberg, Hugo Retsinger, Kuno Francke, Theodore Sutro and Calvin Thomas as Toastmaster.

This antique original menu is fully complete. The front and back covers have separated neatly along the spine and detached and laid back together. The front cover shows a couple small spots and both front and back covers have some dust staining and toning from age. Overall condition is otherwise very Terms
