Beautiful airbrushed watercolor painting by the Bernard Picture Company N.Y.C. from the 1940\'s - 1950\'s. Bright saturated colors on a metallic gold ground. Handmade decorative art like this was popular in the 1940\'s and 50\'s and sold in fine furniture and department stores. Studio artists used watercolors, airbrush and stencils over a printed line sketch to create each painting.

Art has some light spotting in the upper right gold area, could be some minor oxidation of the metallic pigment. Some wear, scratches or dings to frame which is painted gold but may not be original.
